In 2007 Jos Kranen and Johannes Gille designed the “A Forest Chair” exclusive for Priveekollektie. In that same year the chair was shown at designfairs in Milan and Miami. A great start for the duo Kranen/Gille, which in the following years successfully worked on a unique body of work.
On the occasion of their 10th anniversary Het Noordbrabants Museum exhibit “The industrial nature of Kranen/Gille” from 11 February to 14 may 2017. Besides the “A … Chair” series and the “Fredersen” wing chair, a total of 40 designs will be shown.
