Priveekollektie

Miriam Zwaan and her experience with Priveekollektie

“In 2018 I came in touch with Priveekollektie for the first time. I was supervising the graduation assignment of Wan’er Zhang – a Chinese student – and she found a spot at this beautiful art gallery in the monumental town of Heusden. Wan’er wanted to combine her passion for art with her studies and that led her to Priveekollektie. As an art lover myself, it was a true pleasure visiting Heusden and meeting up with my namesake Miriam and her team. She showed me around, also in her beautiful home, full of amazing art pieces. Today, in 2020, Vi Tran – a Vietnamese student – is writing her thesis for Priveekollektie.

With strong international ties to other galleries and artists and a vision for the Asian markets, our students – Wan’er in 2018 and Vi now – are able to conduct research specifically in the field of Communications. Providing solid advise for the gallery on how to approach new target groups or brand the gallery worldwide. My experience with Priveekollektie has been very positive. Their professional attitude and their willingness to provide good traineeships for my students is very pleasant. It is therefore my aim to keep providing them with good students and maybe our collaboration in the future can be extended.”
