An extensive overview of the works by Catharina van de Ven is now available for anyone to explore at Het Gouverneurshuis in Catharina’s hometown, Heusden. This contemporary art exhibition will open its doors to visitors on April 12th, and it will be on display until September 1st, 2024.
The walls of the Governor’s House, architectural jewel of the town, will offer a frame for what is an in depth journey through fifteen years of spatial work. Her works are authentic reflections of her thought process, the reconciliation of the deepest contradictions of human nature. You will see the result of years of experimenting with different materials, different fabrics, different concepts.
