What would it mean to fabricate a precise fold? A precise kind of accident? What should that look like? Should it be just an index of the event of its having been dented? Possibly. One can simply create a kind of accident and the result will be what it is. However, if one wanted to create a specific fold, not the image of a fold represented in three dimensions, but create it ex novo, how can that be done? The making of the piece is in its own way a kind of piece, a set of actions that require a certain blindness regarding the results. It is much better this way to make a piece.
