BRT-CFM (Beretta) is a part of the Golden Project. The Golden Project is a series of iconic handguns; translated and sublimated into desirable sculptures. This project consists of a series of 9 individual pieces that fearlessly and expressively show harmony between power and strength, male and female.

The sculpture is bold symbols of female power that challenge traditional notions of strength and control. By reinterpreting a typical masculine object, Catharina van de Ven transforms the guns into a powerful statement of female identity and empowerment. The sculptures evoke a sense of confrontation and assertiveness, reflecting the artist’s feminist approach and her desire to reclaim tools of power, making them symbols of resilience and authority rather than violence.
