Untitled

Christiane Richter works with the possibilities of analogue photography in the digital era.

Richter’s unique photographic works interact with painting, abstract compositions, and an interrelation of images. While the works resemble paintings in a number of ways, they are in fact the result of carefully calculated photography. In Christiane’s works, color and light are used and combined in a unique and surreal manner.

Her works are untitled to enable freedom in the mind of the beholder to imagine their own interpretation.
